Finally, my first joint release with Johan Becker is out today! As you know, we made our first collaboration ten years ago when Johan joined me on stage at the Stockholm Italo Disco Festival and we performed two tracks together. But we never had the opportunity to work in the studio together until now. And we've had a lot of fun!

The new maxi-single consists of three tracks:
1. Twilight – our cover of the Electric Light Orchestra classic
2. Future Friday – my opening track from the documentary “Kebu – Space for Synths”
3. Stand Up – a brand-new song co-written and performed by us
"Twilight" was really one of the songs that first opened my eyes to the magical world of synthesizers. I remember hearing it on one of my dad’s old cassettes, recorded from the radio, and being completely mesmerized. After we had completed the recording session for our song "Stand Up", I asked Johan if he new Twilight. He had heard the song, but wasn't that familiar with it. But he was up for the challenge and we decided to quickly record the song. So I quickly built a backing track, and Johan listened, learned the song on the spot, and we recorded the vocals just in time — literally before I had to drive him to the airport. We were both amazed by how well it turned out, especially considering it’s not an easy song!
And now you can all enjoy it on vinyl or digital form!
